History:
The Antique Auto Shop was started in 1969, due to a love of old cars, by Fred
and Ray Vagedes. In the beginning, Fred and Ray used their shop part time purely
to enjoy their hobby. Shortly after, friends began asking Fred and Ray to do restoration
work on their cars. Gaining a reputation for quality work, the demands grew and
they eventually quit their jobs to devote their efforts full time to work they
enjoyed doing. In 1990, the present owner, Terry Kesselring arrived on the scene
with a commitment to expand the operations Fred and Ray started. Today, we continue
to provide the highest quality work for the diverse automotive needs of our clients
in all phases of the restoration process. After retiring, Fred and Ray wanted
to share their many years of classic car restoration experience with those who
share their enjoyment of restoring classic cars. To that end they created a six
part video series to aid the do-it-yourselfer restore their car.
The Antique Auto Shop has Moved!
After
30 years of continuous service in the same location, The Antique Auto Shop has
relocated into a larger, more convenient facility. In our new expanded quarters,
we will continue to perform the full restoration of Classics, Antiques, Sports
Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles. Also provided at The Antique Auto Shop are professional
mechanical repair, metal fabrication and body and paint work on 1975 and older
vehicles. Many makes and models of cars have gone through our shop; however, Packards,
Cadillacs and Corvettes remain our specialties.
Our
six technicians have more than 100 years combined automotive experience, assuring
our customers of top quality professional service. Many customers today desire
modern comforts in their old cars, so we are offering a new and exciting service
called Retro-Restoration, where our technicians will install power steering, power
brakes, air conditioning, updated suspension and other creature comforts to your
original car to make it easier, safer and more enjoyable to drive on today's roads.
Our new facility is located near The Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International
